Menopause Care Near Longmont, CO
Personalized menopause, weight, sleep, metabolic health and healthy-aging care in North Boulder, conveniently located for clients from Longmont, Niwot and Gunbarrel.
If you live in Longmont and are searching for menopause care that goes beyond a prescription, Summit Peak Wellness is a short drive south in North Boulder's Dakota Ridge neighborhood. Our practice is conveniently accessible from Longmont via Diagonal Highway or Highway 119 — approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on starting point and traffic — and we offer virtual follow-up visits so you do not need to make the trip every time.
Menopause is not a single symptom. It is a whole-body transition that affects sleep, mood, metabolism, bone, muscle, heart, skin, and more. Many women in the Longmont area are looking for a provider who will take the time to understand the full picture — not just prescribe hormones and stop there. That is exactly what we do. Hormones may be part of the answer. They are never the whole answer.
Our menopause and healthy-aging care connects hormone evaluation with body-composition testing, metabolic health markers, sleep optimization, strength planning, and cardiovascular risk assessment — all in one connected plan. You do not need to coordinate between multiple specialists in different offices. One provider. One plan. One app to track your progress between visits.
Why Travel From Longmont
Expert Menopause Care, 20 Minutes Away
Longmont has excellent primary care providers, but finding a clinician with advanced training in menopause care, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine — who also offers body-composition testing, metabolic labs, and recovery therapies under one roof — is difficult. That is why women from Longmont, Niwot, and Gunbarrel travel to our North Boulder practice.
Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner Holly Powell, MSN, MBA, FNP-C, brings 20 years of primary care experience plus advanced training in menopause care, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine. She is the only provider you will see — no handoffs to assistants, no rotating clinicians. Every visit, every plan, every adjustment is hers.
The drive from Longmont to our Dakota Ridge office is straightforward: take Diagonal Highway (CO-119) south to Boulder, then a short drive to our location. Many patients combine their visit with errands, a walk on the nearby Boulder Creek Path, or time in town — making the trip worthwhile.
What Happens During Your Visit
Your First Menopause Consultation
Your first visit is not a 10-minute appointment. It is an unhurried, comprehensive consultation — typically 60 minutes — where we review your full health picture:
Virtual Follow-Up Options
Care That Fits Your Schedule
After your initial in-person consultation, most follow-up visits can be done virtually — by video from your home in Longmont. You will not need to drive to Boulder every time. We use our companion app to track your symptoms, body composition (if you have follow-up InBody scans), sleep data from wearables, and progress between visits.
If you use an Apple Watch, WHOOP, Garmin, Oura, or Fitbit, we can sync your data to see your HRV, sleep architecture, and recovery trends — giving us objective data about how your menopause plan is working, even between visits. This is care that comes to you, not the other way around.
In-person visits are recommended for body-composition testing (InBody scans every 4-8 weeks), lab draws, and recovery therapy sessions. Everything else can typically be virtual.
Healthy-Aging Care
Beyond Symptom Management
Menopause is not just about managing hot flashes. It is a pivotal transition for long-term health. The years surrounding menopause accelerate bone and muscle loss, reshape cardiovascular and metabolic risk, and change how your body responds to stress, sleep, and nutrition. Our menopause care addresses all of it.
We make resistance training, protein optimization, and strength measurement a core part of your plan — because the goal is not just fewer hot flashes. It is a stronger, healthier second half of life. Bone health, cardiovascular screening, metabolic markers, and cognitive health are all part of the conversation.

Virtual Follow-Ups & Tracking
