Longevity & Wellness Testing Near Longmont and Niwot, CO

Submaximal VO₂ max, InBody body composition, grip strength, HRV, advanced lipids, and metabolic markers — the objective measurements that reveal how well you are aging. Conveniently located in North Boulder for clients from Longmont and Niwot.

You cannot optimize what you do not measure. Most people know their weight and cholesterol. Few know their VO₂ max, body fat percentage, visceral fat level, grip strength, or heart rate variability — the metrics that actually predict how long and how well you will live. If you live in Longmont or Niwot, advanced longevity and wellness testing is available a short drive away in North Boulder.

At Summit Peak Wellness, our longevity testing goes beyond standard labs. We measure the biomarkers that research has linked to healthspan and lifespan: cardiovascular fitness, body composition, functional strength, autonomic nervous system function, and metabolic health markers. Then we interpret the results and turn them into an actionable plan — not simply hand you a printout and send you home.

Our North Boulder office is conveniently located for patients from Longmont (20-25 minutes via Diagonal Highway) and Niwot (15 minutes via Niwot Road or Highway 119). The in-office testing takes about 60-90 minutes, and results review can be done in person or virtually — so you do not need to drive to Boulder twice. We serve patients from across Boulder County who want objective health data, not guesswork.

Why Travel From Longmont or Niwot

Advanced Testing, Not Available Everywhere

Finding a practice that offers InBody body composition, submaximal VO₂ max assessment, grip strength assessment, HRV review, and advanced lipid panels — all in one visit, interpreted by a clinician — is difficult in the Longmont and Niwot area. Most primary care offices do not have this equipment. Most gyms with InBody devices do not have a clinician to interpret the results. We have both.

Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner Holly Powell, MSN, MBA, FNP-C, brings advanced training in longevity medicine, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine. She does not just run the tests — she connects the results to your body composition, your symptoms, your wearable data, and your goals. You leave with a plan, not a printout.

The drive from Longmont or Niwot to our Dakota Ridge office is short and straightforward. Many patients combine their testing visit with time in Boulder — a walk, errands, or a meal — making the trip efficient and enjoyable.

What Happens During Your Visit

Your Testing Appointment

Your longevity testing visit takes about 60-90 minutes in our North Boulder office. Here is what to expect:

InBody body-composition scan — 60 seconds, painless, barefoot on the platform
Grip strength test — squeeze a dynamometer with each hand
Sit-to-stand test — functional strength assessment
Resting blood pressure and heart rate measurement
Cardiovascular fitness estimation (or a scheduled submaximal VO₂ max assessment)
Wearable data review — bring your Apple Watch, WHOOP, Garmin, Oura, or Fitbit
Discussion of your health history, goals, and concerns
Lab orders placed for targeted blood work based on your risk factors

Virtual Results Review

Interpretation Without a Second Drive

After your in-office testing and lab results are complete, we schedule a results review — and this can be done virtually by video from your home in Longmont or Niwot. You do not need to drive to Boulder a second time just to go over numbers.

During the results review, we explain what each metric means, how they connect, and exactly what to prioritize in your plan. We do not just tell you whether a value is normal or abnormal — we explain what it means for your health trajectory and what you can do about it. You leave with a personalized action plan, not a sheet of numbers.

Follow-up testing is scheduled at appropriate intervals — body composition every 4-8 weeks, labs every 3-6 months, comprehensive panels every 6-12 months — so you can see objective progress over time.
