Back to Strong

Rebuild a routine. Feel capable again.

In development. These are proposed program outlines. Enrollment is not open here. Ask about availability and fees; visit frequency, provider access, assessments, equipment, and any separate clinical services will be confirmed before enrollment. Results vary.

Who this is for

Adults returning to consistent activity after a busy season or time away.

What we work toward

Build a manageable strength and movement routine around the activities you want to keep doing.

See progress that matters

  • Completed sessions and confidence
  • Reviewed strength and functional measures when appropriate
  • Progress toward a chosen everyday activity

Choose appropriate starting measures, review habits along the way, and repeat suitable measures at the end. Changes support discussion; they do not guarantee future health or performance.

Learn it. Try it. Make it yours.

Each week pairs a practical explanation and fictional real-life example with a guided text walkthrough, two short quiz questions with feedback, an adaptable challenge, and a reflection worksheet. Source links explain what the evidence supports. These drafts are awaiting clinical review.

Choose an easier version or teach the idea back. Useful attempts and questions count; there is no need to chase a perfect score or compete with someone else's body or performance.

Your proposed weekly path

Week 1

Choose your real-life goal

Describe a meaningful activity and your current ability without judging it.

Practice: Write one specific goal and reserve two realistic activity windows.

Week 2

Make movement repeatable

Use familiar comfortable activity and the starting level agreed with your clinician or trainer.

Practice: Practice your reviewed routine and record how manageable it felt.

Week 3

Learn your strength movements

Controlled technique and a suitable exercise variation come before adding challenge.

Practice: Rehearse the reviewed squat, hinge, push and pull options; request instruction for unfamiliar movements.

Week 4

Build practical meals

Regular satisfying meals can make it easier to follow a training routine.

Practice: Choose one repeatable meal with a suitable protein source and a fiber-rich food.

Week 5

Find an appropriate challenge

A plan should match demonstrated ability; exercise effort is individual.

Practice: Record your exercise variation, resistance, repetitions and perceived effort for review.

Week 6

Review the first month

Look at completion and barriers before changing the plan.

Practice: Bring your activity log and one practical difficulty to the agreed review.

Week 7

Support recovery

Recovery includes a sustainable schedule, adequate food and comfortable sleep routines.

Practice: Protect one recovery period and try one feasible evening routine.

Week 8

Progress with purpose

Advance using the criteria in your reviewed plan, changing one variable at a time.

Practice: Compare your log with your agreed progression criteria; ask for review when uncertain.

Week 9

Practice the real-life task

Task practice helps connect the program to your actual goal.

Practice: Practice a suitable version of your chosen activity within the reviewed time budget.

Week 10

Plan for interruptions

Busy weeks do not require abandoning the routine or making up missed sessions.

Practice: Write a smaller version of your routine for a demanding week.

Week 11

Prepare a fair reassessment

Comparable protocols make measurement trends more useful.

Practice: Confirm whether reassessment is booked and repeat the same activity description.

Week 12

Keep the useful habits

Completion is a chance to choose a sustainable next step.

Practice: Write a 30-day maintenance plan and discuss whether further support is useful.
